I asked a boy out a month or so ago. I announced that I was going to ask him myself. To his face. All my friends applauded me and said I was really brave and even got to other girls to ask out their crushes. We all coordinated a date to do it together and all be either victorious or broken hearted together. Well one of my friends told her mom and her mom went crazy and told her she couldn’t date and the boy would take advantage of her. The eventually talked it out and she asked him. And got rejected and for whatever reason, given a bookmark by the rejector to make it less akward. My other friend asked the boy out at the end of the day and he told her he’d have to think about it. (He rejected her on Monday, through a friend no less, while she asked him out to his face, wimp) and than I asked my crush out. I kept freaking out and almost didn’t do it, then decided and turned around and asked him out. Well he rejected me like he was dumping me “I think we’re better as friends” and then ran to catch his bus. I was broken hearted.(you can imagine how happy our lunch table was on Monday). He still avoids me and I’m not quite over him. So in conclusion, I’ve sworn off guys, forever. And then my friends yell at me to stop being so dramatic.

I really like my best guy friend, like an insane amount. I asked him out a few years ago and he freaked and ran off. We’ve only recently become friends again. Is there a way to tell him how I feel without spooking him again?
