Benni Cinkle
Remember that totally viral music video, “Friday”? We have a feeling you do – it’s the song that gave Rebecca Black tons of fame, along with tons of haters. But Rebecca wasn’t the only star of the video… dancing alongside her was Benni Cinkle, the ‘girl in pink’. Benni also became a victim of cyber-bullying, but instead of letting it get her down, she’s using her new fame for good.
Benni is the founder of That Girl In Pink, a non-profit organization that raises awareness for causes that affect kids and teens, like cutting, bullying, eating disorders and more. She’s a total inspiration and one of our new gURL crushes, so you can imagine how happy we were to meet her when she stopped by the gURL.com office.
Check out our exclusive interview with Benni, where she talks about bullying stories, dealing with her haters and why she doesn’t regret being in the Rebecca Black video:
Do you agree with what Benni is doing? Would you love to be involved in a charity? Let us know in the comments.
