Jamie has another awesomely affordable craft for us today. Seriously, how do she come up with so many amazing ideas? We’re in total aw of this girl. Anyway, today’s project is turning a plain old orange into a rad candle. It barely costs anything. Plus, big news, Jamie got invited to this year’s VidCon! We’re not the only ones who think Jamie’s totally awesome apparently! She took her orange candle to the streets of VidCon and got a ton of people involved in the final step!

could I use matches instead of a long reach lighter ?
You could, but the flame takes a long time to light the wick, so there’s a chance you may burn your fingers from the close proximity… just be careful!

I have an oil lamp with scented oil, would that work?
It definitely should work! If not, start with olive oil and then add in your scented oil bit by bit.
