can you do a video on how to decorate a hat? i have a plain black fedora, i want to make it original but i dont know where to start

Jamie you’re awesome!! And when I saw this I wanted to try it directly on a wall because it seems like the thing to do! >_< do you think it'll work the same way if I tape the crayons to the wall and leave them there after I melt them?

Hey Lauren

The trouble with the blowdryer is that I had to position it pretty darn close to those crayons in order to melt them. When I moved the blowdryer towards the top of the crayons, they started to slip from the tape — not sure about how they’d respond if you hot glued them on.

I did see a DIY where a girl placed a large halogen lamp in front of her canvas, and it melted most of the crayons in a straight line. As long as the right amount of heat is there – as opposed to how hard the air is blowing, like from the blowdryer – then I don’t see why you couldn’t place heat from behind the canvas as well.

could you perhaps direct the heat of the hair dryer on the back of the canvas and point downward? that may not cause the melted crayon to have a “blown” effect and just look like it drips. what do you think?

You guys should do these kind of DIYs a lot more ! like more things to make youre room creative and decorative cuz my room is plain and white and i dont have a single artistic bone in my body
