Guess what day it is? It is indeed Hump Day, and we’re halfway through the week. But it’s also World Elephant Day! This is one of my favorite days of the year because I absolutely love elephants and, of course, love a day centered around celebrating them. Elephants are endangered and continue to decrease in population due to poachers, which is just awful. A lot of people don’t realize it, but there are roughly 400,000 African elephants and less than 40,000 Asian elephants left in the world. Do yourself and the elephants a favor and educate yourself on these majestic creatures and see how you can help!
