In yet another celeb nude photo leak, the Internet has been graced with images of MTV’s Jersey Shore starlet Snooki naked. What a treat!

The pint-sized paesana’s rep confirmed that the nude photo leaks are indeed poor little Snooki naked, but the world isn’t even making a huge deal out of it. Why? Well, because in this particular case, it isn’t one.

The thing is, celebs have nude photo “scandals” so often that they’re hardly even scandalous anymore, especially when it’s a reality show personality whose own star is fading. Let’s be real, unless Justin Bieber (and, uh, Jerry), One Direction, Selena Gomez, or either half of Brangelina were to leak a nude photo now, people will barely blink. Compared with A-list names, a picture of Snooki naked won’t generate much buzz. While it’s good to save her from embarrassment, it’s almost bittersweet for the Seaside-loving munchkin, since a nude photo scandal for anyone else would garner a lot of publicity–and she has a new show with J-Woww premiering soon.

Another potential reason why Snooki’s nude photo “scandal” isn’t making too many waves? Girlfriend’s already so overexposed that nobody really cares. Considering she made her name and money by pretty consistently being drunk and acting foolish in public, a picture of Snooki naked isn’t that surprising. And while we’re happy she’s eased off of tequila and tanning since becoming a mom-to-be, it’s safe to say that with so much online porn around, no one is itching for a nude photo of the self-proclaimed guidette.

The only really shocking thing about a nude photo of Snooki? Aside from, well, Snooki naked, we catch a glimpse of her neon green nail polish. And we kind of love it. So, Snooki Snickers? Next time instead of a nude photo, just take pics of your manicure. It’ll be a lot less embarrassing for your future bambino later.

Snooki is pregnant? It looks like the Mayans may have been on to something about the world ending in 2012!

The pint-sized Jersey Shore starlet is expected to make an official announcement any minute. Rumor has it that Snooki denied her pregnancy early on in hopes of a big magazine payday, but it’s possible that just this once, girlfriend wanted some privacy–who knows, right?!

On a network that showcase not only her own antics, but those of the Sixteen and Pregnant variety, a pregnant Snooki has some strong implications for the rest of society–and becomes, at least to us thinking girls, a walking (er, stumbling) ad against the Blunt Amendment.

Scratching your head and saying, “What is the Blunt Amendment?” No worries, girl. I’ve got you covered. It’s a bill that conservative politicians are trying to push through that would give all bosses–including yours!–the right to refuse health coverage for things like birth control. That’s right. If your boss doesn’t believe in birth control for religious or “moral” reasons, they could keep it from being covered on your insurance if the Blunt Amendment passes.

Many people are already wishing Snooki had used birth control and not gotten pregnant (mini-bumpits for baby guidettes, anyone?)–but what if she hadn’t had access to birth control this whole time? What if her boss at that T-shirt stand or whatever said, “Oh, I don’t believe in birth control, so Snooki can’t have it, either!” I can’t even imagine the damage to the gene pool if Snooki couldn’t afford the pill. (Then again, imagine the Maury marathons trying to figure out which juicehead was the father!)

But to be serious, this is a serious issue. Many girls don’t use birth control because they can’t afford it. Ideally, if a girl wasn’t ready for a baby and couldn’t afford contraception, she wouldn’t have sex. But let’s be real: this isn’t an ideal world, and condoms can fail.

Why shouldn’t young women be able to make the best choices for themselves without someone else’s religion or “morals” standing in their way? Isn’t it worse to get pregnant and not want the kid? Doesn’t make a lot of sense to us.

The passing of the Blunt Amendment would severely limit women’s health–and lead to a lot more girls like Snooki getting pregnant. A pregnant Snooki worries us (what kind of mom will she be?! I mean, even she says she’s not a role model!) but here’s hoping she chose to get pregnant, as is her right, instead of getting knocked up accidentally–like so many women will if this stupid Blunt Amendment passes.

Pale vs. bronze--which leg looks better?

I want a tan for beach season, but I’ve learned the hard way that summer is not the time to start experimenting with self tanner. Instead, you want to have your bronzing arsenal set and ready by the time warm weather hits, so you don’t step out in that sundress with streaks, spots or splotches.

While a ton of things can go wrong when it comes to self-tanning, it’s loads better than what can go wrong with baking under harsh, gross UV rays. After college I worked briefly at a tanning salon and got the message loud and clear that staying out of the sun is the key to preserving a wrinkle-free face. Seriously, the clients looked like saddles.

So, I’ve become an expert on all things faux-soleil but I thought I’d try the Neutrogena Micro-Mist Tanning Spray since it touts a streak-less, quick-drying tan.

I chose the medium shade–I’m not trying to change races, just tone down my blinding paleness–and here are my official pros and cons!

PROS:

• Price–At about $10, this was way more affordable than a salon airbrush tan that can run upwards of $60, but doesn’t last much longer!
• Easy–The directions tell you to hold the can about 12 inches from your body and spray in a small circular motion. The can works well upside down so you can get those, ahem, hard to reach spots without being a Cirque du Soleil performer.
• Color–Hands down, this is the most natural-looking color that I’ve found in a self tanner, including airbrush and Mystic Tans. IMO, it looks natural and subtle, not Snooki-esque. Do you agree?

CONS:

• Ventilation!–I’m still coughing from applying this in my small NYC apartment. I didn’t anticipate a massive cloud of self-tanner to fill my home, but it did, even with the windows open and my ceiling fan on. Now my floor is sticky and I’m just waiting for my perfect white couch to develop a tan. Proceed with caution unless you have a big, breezy back yard!

• Intensity–While I love love the color, there wasn’t quite enough of it. One application yields the perfect shade for a subtle, mid-winter glow, but I had to apply it three times to get this color. Still though, I’m not sure if this is dark enough to convince people that I’ve spent the winter sunbathing on my yacht, the Gurl Talk! (heehee!)

Overall, I really do like this spray. It made good on it’s streak-less promise, and I wasn’t left with stained palms or weird too-dark patches on my elbows and knees. I will definitely use this again…but only if I get a gas mask first!

Role model? Um...

Who knew that Nicole Polizzi and Snooki were two different personalities? We definitely didn’t. We kind of just assumed that the way Nicole acts as Snooki on Jersey Shore is the way Nicole acts in every day life. But on The Today Show, Nicole discusses her two personalities and gives us a pretty obvious statement, saying: “Snooki is not a role model.”

Come on, let’s be honest here… we’re pretty sure everyone was aware of that one already. On the most recent season of Jersey Shore alone, Snooki was shown cheating on her boyfriend, flashing her private areas in a club, giving us some pretty stupid statements, and obviously, getting really, really drunk.

Nicole said, “Snooki’s definitely not a role model — Snooki’s just there to have fun in life — Nicole, I would say, I can be a role model. I’m very strong, independent and I’m loveable, I guess.”

She added, “I think you see more of the party side of me … on the show, but right now, you’re talking to Nicole. It’s like the soft, calm, business-ready person.”

gURLs making out with other gURLs is kind of old news. From celeb publicity stunts to reality shows, we’ve pretty much all seen our share of gURL-on-gURL action. But that still didn’t stop us from being a little surprised at seeing BFF’s Snooki and Deena making out on this week’s episode of Jersey Shore.

During the ep, which was appropriately titled ‘Meatball Mash-up’,  Snooki and Deena drank a tad too much and found themselves making out for hours. Even after Deena’s “lesbionic experience” a few episodes before, some of the cast-mates were still totally freaked out.
