In “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1″ movie, a deleted scene shows a steamy sex talk between Bella and Edward (Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson)! | Source: YouTube

The clip isn’t a sex scene, but rather a sex talk between Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson as Bella and Edward are in the kitchen the morning after they basically break the bed. Turns out, having sex for the first time may have destroyed the headboard, but at least one piece of bedding survived their, well, bedding.

“Pillow survived,” a still-human Bella says. Robert Pattinson, in all his red-eyed, pale skinned glory as the brooding vamp grins, “Practice makes perfect, right?” Hey-yo!

It turns out, having sex wasn’t the most terrible thing in the world for Bella, and Kristen Stewart sort of nails her vulnerable, morning after state. “I did not know how good being human could be,” she says. R-Pattz smirks and chuckles, “So sex was the key after all!”

Then they pretty much start making out and priming themselves for round two. And it’s not just a sex talk–in the scene, Bella and Edward are actually talking about how Bella is balking at becoming a vampire because, well, sex feels good as a human.

Why was the sex talk edited out? Aside from being a bit too steamy for a lot of Twilight‘s younger fans, it turns out, the director said there was just a whole lot of action to pack into one movie.

“As Twilight series devotees know, there was a lot of ground to cover in adapting Breaking Dawn to the screen. Between the wedding, the honeymoon, the birth, and everything in between, naturally there were things that didn’t make it into our final cut,” Bill Condon said in a statement. “But I wanted to make sure that for all the Twihards out there, there was a chance to see some of these cut scenes–several of which are fan favorites from the book.”

The steamy sex talk scene will be in the Breaking Dawn: Part 1 Extended Edition DVD, which hits shelves March 2. Start counting down, Twihards! In the meantime, you can watch the scene here!

The highly anticipated release of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 is behind us, but there’s some pretty exciting Twilight-related wedding news for us all to get talking about. Now, before you jump to conclusions thinking that Robert Pattinson married Kristen Stewart, let me just say, “No, no, no. That is not it.” Think a little more fictional.

The groom-to-be is Mr. Edward Cullen, who is getting married to a 24-year-old graduate student named Lauren Adkins. As you surely know, the character brought to life on the big screen by handsome actor Robert Pattinson married his fellow fictional love Bella Swan in a magical Breaking Dawn wedding, but it appears Edward’s now found a new love in the real world. “Til death do you part” is a pretty long time, especially when one of you is undead, but that’s not stopping the Twilight vampire and graduate student from seeing this thing through.

If your first reaction to this is, “Wow, that seems completely crazy,” well, that’s sort of the point. As part of her master’s thesis at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Lauren is planning this wedding as a performance piece called “Love is Overtaking Me.” The project is a way to examine people’s attitudes toward female fandom and also how entertainment affects our perception of love.

On her personal website, Lauren describes the project as such: “This work focuses on the female escapist fantasy in its most popular forms—primarily finding “true love”—and the extent to which it seeps into our real lives.” Lauren also goes on to state, “The work is also an exploration of the dismissive, vitriolic, and at times violent attitude of the media and and [sic] the public at large toward female fandom,” listing a few examples of words sometimes associated with female fans including “obsessive” and “psychotic.”

The actual ceremony is happening at a chapel on Jan. 26, 2013 and it’s invite-only (sorry). You can be a part of the wedding reception (also the exhibition’s reception) which will be open March 4-8, 2013 at UNLV. This is no thrown-together Vegas wedding, people! Lauren’s been getting press coverage for her performance project, and she said on her website that she plans to include media responses in her final analysis.

I have had a fake boyfriend or two in my day (I’ll always love you, Jack Dawson), and while I have no plans to take things to a fake wedding level, I am really intrigued by Lauren’s wedding. I’m a huge movie and television nut, and I probably don’t even fully realize all the ways that my entertainment consumption affects how I view or act within my real-world relationships. Plus, being part of a fandom like Twilight can be a lot of fun and can definitely give you a sense of identity and belonging, so I think Lauren is really onto something about not attacking women for choosing to identify with these groups. To each their own, I say!

Now I’m just kind of hoping that news breaks about cardboard cut-out Bella Swan being snubbed from the invite list or the actual living breathing Robert Pattinson accepting an invitation. Wait, what if real life Robert Pattinson married cardboard cut-out Lauren Adkins in a dual Vegas wedding ceremony? Okay, I think I’m getting away from the point of the project now so I’ll just stop.

With the apocalypse supposedly looming in December, the world will end on a pretty awesome note–at least in terms of movies. 2012 brought us so many quality flicks that narrowing down this list was actually tough. When you’re giving thanks tomorrow for everything you’ve got, maybe also express some gratitude for the great cinema that Hollywood gifted us this year. From drama to action to eye candy, we had a bit of everything.

One theme we saw in a whole lot of 2012 movies? Girls kicking butt. We love that quite a bit.

We should note that we lurved all these movies so much that we’re putting them in no particular order, because they’re all so different but so rad that it would be a little impossible to rank them! (Okay, okay, so maybe The Avengers is at the top for a reason, but the rest are totally tied.)

The Avengers

Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow, The Hulk, Hawkeye, Loki (we heart Tom Hiddleston–such a nice dude in real life). And Samuel L. Jackson, who, like sprinkles, makes everything he’s in just that much better. All at once. How did our brains not explode?

Skyfall

While Quantum of Solace wasn’t the best Bond flick we’ve seen, Skyfall won over fans who didn’t even really dig the spy franchise before. Daniel Craig and Co. brought Bond back to his Casino Royale glory–scrappy, a little angry, and a lot of fun to watch. And we loved Adele’s theme song, too!

Prometheus

This may be the most polarizing movie on the list–half of audiences loved it, half hated it. That’s the beauty of the high-tension Prometheus: It made us all think, didn’t answer a lot of questions, and provided a whole lot of post-movie conversation.

Girl power at its best, with Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen. She kicked butt, she took names, and the movie was pretty loyal to the books (which were awesome). And it sparked a new debate: Team Gale vs. Teem Peeta!

Aside from the awesomeness of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman, the final installment of Christopher Nolan’s Batman franchise starred Bane. While no one can compare to the late Heath Ledger’s Joker, in terms of the comics, Bane is the most insane, awesome villain Batman’s ever faced, and the film did him justice–even if his voice (like Christian Bale’s Batman) was a little odd.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart got back together in real life and on screen to promote The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2. And it wasn’t even awkward! | Source: MTV News

The trio–who, as you know, play Edward Cullen, Bella Swan (now Cullen), and Jacob Black in the vampire-werewolf flicks–talked about the end of the series, which is going to be a huge stepping stone for them. After all, who knew much about any of them pre-Twilight? Unless you saw Speak or Panic Room, you probably had no clue who Kristen Stewart was, and Robert Pattinson looks a lot different from his Harry Potter days, right?

While Rob often throws subtle shade at the franchise that made him famous, he knows that without it, he likely wouldn’t have nearly as many opportunities as he does now. “We had no idea what we were doing,” he chuckled when asked about the beginnings of Twilight.

Truth be told, we thought this reunion was going to be a lot more awkward–especially considering R-Pattz and K-Stew are pretty adorably awkward to begin with, even without the cheating scandal casting a weird light over everything–but they were totally fine. This means either they’re doing gloriously or that their acting is a lot better than some of their critics give them credit for. Kristen actually admitted she missed doing interviews with Rob and Taylor.

“For the last few press junkets, they’ve been separating everyone which is silly,” K-Stew admitted. “I think because we love hanging out.”

Indeed they do–the couple were snapped holding hands on Halloween, and they weren’t too shy about that, either. Well, Rob was. K-Stew said her costume was actually a tribute to Natalie Portman‘s character in the movie Closer, who sports a pink bob wig, while Rob wore a weird clear mask with painted-on eyebrows. “Oh yes, it looks awesome … If you’ve seen that, that’s one aspect of [Portman's] character,” Kristen giggled. “She changes a lot in that movie, but that’s one part, yeah.” As for Rob? “I chose someone who is just genuinely terrifying. It was a $3 mask from a 7-Eleven.”

As for the ending of the era? “It’s a strange feeling,” Taylor Lautner sighed. “I can’t believe it.” Kristen said that in ten years, Edward and Bella will be “happy and their life [will look] like a postcard.” And we bet it’ll sparkle.

Robert Pattinson is a sensitive dude, and arguably had a lot to cry about pretty recently: the Kristen Stewart cheating scandal, the fact that he really hates the nickname “R-Pattz” and can’t escape it, the end of The Twilight Sagamovies. But what really breaks his heart and makes him cry like a baby?

Marley and Me! Spoiler alert for those who haven’t seen it: Marley dies at the end, and it’s the saddest thing ever. Sad enough to make Robert Pattinson completely miserable. In an Australian interview, a fan on Twitter asked what films make the big boy cry, and he went into how excruciating an experience that movie was.

“Marley and Me. I was so surprised,” he said earnestly. “I was like devastated. It was absolutely awful. I was watching it at 3:00 in the morning on one of the press tours for these films–literally I never want to see it again, it was horrible . . . ,” he chuckled sheepishly. “When he takes him for his last walk, and he goes, ‘Do you want to sit down for a second?’ I can’t take it. I hate people, but I love dogs.”

Here’s the thing: I live even closer than a mile away from my boyfriend. Try three blocks. About a year ago, he needed to find a new apartment, and managed to find one right by me. And you know what? It’s been amazing. We live close enough so we can see each other really whenever we want, but still have our own apartments and our own space. We see each other a ton, but it’s not because we have to, it’s because we choose to, and that’s what makes it all so awesome. No, no–there’s no cheating scandal in our history, but I think we both liked the idea of taking our time with things.

So, I really do think that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are making a good “move” here. Ha! See what I did there? It’ll give them the space they need to know if they’re getting back together for the right reasons. And plus, now they have not just one giant mansion, but two to throw parties in. (Can you imagine?!)
