This video takes a few seconds to really get into it, but I promise you it’s worth it. This cat is terrified of the jumping noise from Mario video games, and it’s really funny, although a little bit sad. Is he really afraid… or is he trying to be Mario? Think about it…

But seriously, if my cat could jump this high like this, it would be kind of awesome. I mean, I feel bad for the little guy, but the way he can move is just pretty ridiculous and also really funny. Watch for yourself… and maybe see if the Mario noises have this effect on all cats.

I’m not even going to attempt to lie – I teared up a little bit watching this video. It’s just too cute and sad and pathetic. And it’s exactly why I love animals – they love you so much that they never, ever want you to leave! The end is the saddest part. I guess I can sort of relate to this guy just throwing his kitten on the bed, though. My cat follows me around with pitiful, sad eyes all morning until I leave for work and when I’m really in a rush I’m kind of like, “Belle! Get out of my way!” JK, I can’t relate to this. This kitten is way too cute to throw like that. Cold, dude. So, so cold.

Also, I may or may not do something similar to my boyfriend when he leaves for work in the morning. I mean, it’s not this extreme, but… I don’t know. I guess I can see where this kitten is coming from.

Dubstep Kitties Sneezing

I can’t decide if this video is really cute or just plain weird. I’m going to go with just plain weird, because, well… it’s a video of cats sneezing set to the beat of a dubstep song. So, yeah.

But that doesn’t mean it’s still not worth a watch! I mean, the weirdest things are sometimes the best things, am I right? Yes, I am. Plus, after a while you kind of forget that the cats are sneezing and that “a-choo” noise just sounds like part of the song. Which I guess it pretty much is. Watch this for yourself – and don’t worry, I won’t judge you if you go home and videotape your cat sneezing so you can do something similar.

I think songs about animals just might be my new favorite kinds of songs. When I watched the song about baby bunnies that I posted about last week, I was already pretty sure I was going to pass out from adorable-ness…. and now that I’ve seen this kitty dubstep song, I think I’m dealing with a serious case of cute overload.

As soon as I watched this video, my first thought was: “I want one”. I do. I want a flying kitty like this. These kittens are insanely adorable and they’re so tiny! Just imagine watching them fly through the air. Or actually watch it – in this video.

The title of this post might sound a little creepy, weird and disturbing (kittens eating ears? Yeah, that could kind of be a nightmare), but we swear that this video is just all-around cute. This Scottish Fold kitten, adorable enough on his own, gets even more adorable when he starts nibbling on his owner’s ear.

Even cuter? This kitten’s name is Dr. Meemersworth. It might be the best kitten name ever. And doesn’t this just make you want to buy a kitten just so it can nibble on your ear while you try to sleep?! No? Just me?

Okay, so we’re kind of obsessed with funny cat videos. But can you blame us? Kitties are just so cute no matter what’s going on, and they just keep getting weirder and funnier by the day. Good thing they’re all over the Internet…

Every once in a while, a story about animal cruelty like this will come along. And it makes a gURL sad. Very, very sad.

Bisexual porn star Luka Magnotta has been identified as releasing a video of himself killing two cats by putting them in an airtight bag and sucking the air out with a vacuum cleaner. According to the Daily Mail:

The mewing kittens can be seen wriggling around and clawing to escape as the polythene tightens around them. After switching off the cleaner, the sick teen opens the bag and proudly holds up the body of one of the kittens for his camera, before displaying them on his bed.

After the video hit YouTube with the deplorable title “1 Boy, 2 Kittens”, P.E.T.A., animal rights activists — and anyone with a heart — teamed up to take this guy down. And even though he’s been identified, he hasn’t been caught yet.
