Spoiler alert: this video might make you tear up a little bit. It might even make you cry. Not like I’m talking from experience or anything… but anyway. I know we might all be getting sick of these best of/worst of 2012 videos, but this one about the moments that brought us together throughout the year is worth watching. It includes pretty much everything: the sad stuff we all cried over, the bad stuff we all wished we could change and the happy stuff that we all celebrated. It’s pretty touching:

The 5 Best Music Videos Of 2012

It’s true–I’m a music video junkie. I didn’t have MTV back when I was really little, but after my parents would go to bed, I’d turn on this show, TBS Night Tracks, and let the flicker of Michael Jackson videos lull me to sleep. Name almost any song and I can tell you about the music video. Madonna’s Take a Bow? Bull fighter and fuzzy lighting! Britney Spears’ (You Drive Me) Crazy? Melissa Joan Hart and not nearly enough Brit Brit! F**k You by Ceelo Green? Lots of choreographed dancing and fries on the floor! You get the idea.

Anyway, 2012 was an awesome year for music videos–and no, I’m not just talking about Gangnam Style (in fact, it didn’t even make my list!). Here are the 5 best music videos of 2012 in my book. Watch ‘em (especially if you haven’t seen them before!) and let me know your favorites in the comments!

Kitty Pryde – Okay Cupid

This video sparked my obsession with Kitty Pryde. She’s just so freaking cool. Also, I want all the Lisa Frank stickers from her laptop.

Meow Vs. Meow – Stegosaur!

You’re lying if you say you don’t want a music video starring Pee-Wee Herman, Duckie from Pretty in Pink, Teen Wolf, and the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

Krispy Kreme – Halloween

It was SO hard to pick just one Krispy Kreme video, but this one has Ninja Turtle costumes in it, so . . . obviously it wins.

The Killers – Here With Me

Winona Ryder as a mannequin and the bit at the end with the candles?! The storytelling on this one is just so good, I don’t know why more people aren’t buzzing about it.

Selena Gomez, Ashley Tisdale, Biebz, etc – Call Me Maybe

I didn’t love the original video as much as everyone else seemed to, but this? This is wonderful. The banana phone alone! RIP, Jelena.

Kristen Stewart Is Not One Of 2012′s Biggest Heroes

Who are your heroes of 2012? We’re talking the most inspiring people of the year. I think there are almost too many to count. People who risked their lives rescuing people from Hurricane Sandy. Hillary Clinton for just being such a bad ass and taking care of business around the world. Even Gabby Douglas for making super big history at the Olympics. To me, those people are all major heroes.

That’s why I was sort of surprised to read that Kristen Stewart was listed in E!’s list of the Top Ten Most Inspiring Stars of 2012. Really? Kristen Stewart? I mean, she’s okay, but one of the 10 biggest heroes? I was confused. Then I read on and I was even more confused. Homegirl didn’t do any secret philanthropy or anything like that, she’s just getting recognition for fessing up to cheating on R-Patz instead of denying it. WHAT?! I mean, that’s a good love lesson–one of the best of 2012, we think, but it certainly doesn’t make her a hero in my book.

Maybe the writer of that story was under pressure to add more glitzy celebs to the roundup, but even still, they could have gone for Emma Watson who delivered food to people in need when she was in New York earlier this year, or any other celeb who’s donated money or done good work. I mean, didn’t Lady Gaga just do a big project with UNICEF? I don’t like her that much, but I think that’s more notable than Kristen Stewart’s apology.

K-Stew gets a lot of flack for being mopey, not wearing high heels, whatever–I’m not trying to add to that. It’s not her fault that some idiot named her one of the most inspiring heroes of 2012, and I seriously doubt even she thinks she belongs on that list!

The Best Relationship Advice We Learned In 2012

Hooboy. I think 2012 has been a landmark year in terms of celebrity relationships, breakups, makeups, and comebacks. Although I’m sure none of our favorite stars exactly loved having their love lives splashed all over the tabloids, we definitely learned some super valuable relationship advice from their experiences.

Here are the top 5 love lessons we learned from our favorite celebrities this year. Who knew Hollywood was so good at giving relationship advice?!

1. If you screw up, fess up
When Kristen Stewart was caught cheating on Robert Pattinson earlier this year, she didn’t deny it or try to make excuses. Instead, she issued one of the most honest-seeming public apologies ever. Did it work? Yes! She and R-Patz are back on and going strong!

2. You really can bounce back from heart break
Katy Perry started off 2012 with a big old divorce on her plate, but did that stop her from rocking this year super hard? No way! She bounced back and did her thing (even if she did end up dating John Mayer . . . blech!).

3. You really shouldn’t kiss and tell
We think Taylor Swift has been given some solid relationship advice over the years, but decided to ignore it in favor of making a ton of money with her overly confessional heartbreak songs. Seriously, kissing and telling the way she does is a huge turnoff to a lot of people (guys and girls!) and it could really mess up your romantic prospects.

4. Love and work can coexist
Contrary to all the relationship advice out there, on-the-job romance can work out! Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder are still going strong, and so is their show! Presto! Go ahead and ask out that cute guy at work!

5. Listen to your BFF’s relationship advice
Even when you don’t agree with her (we doubt Selena Gomez is loving Taylor Swift ragging on the Biebz), let her say what she thinks about your relationship. Chances are, she can see a lot more from the outside than you can from the inside, and she definitely has your best interests in mind!
