Bats are my favorite animals. I found this great costume idea in a very old magazine.

Here is what you need:

1) One discarded umbrella (black).

2) A one-piece long underwear suit or bodysuit (black).

Here is what you do:

1) Rip the umbrella in half.

2) Discard the center and innards of the umbrella.

3) If you are fancy, you can sew the edges of the umbrella to your bodysuit. I didn't have a sewing machine when I made this costume, so I pinned the umbrella, and it stayed on all night.

4) Fly, fly like a bat to the party!
