Christian: While working there, they did a lot of hair shows where they would talk and teach and they would always want clothes, so I did a bunch of stuff for hair shows. My mom was teaching me as I was going, and there were fashion magazines all around the salon. You just pick it up, I guess.

gURL: Did you have any mentors?

Christian: My mom taught me a little bit, but in all honesty, I kind of have a very visual, photographic memory of things. That's probably why I did so well on Project Runway. I could memorize a pattern. I would just look at things as if it was something you could figure out.
