gURL: What's your writing process like? Do you guys write songs individually then put them together, or do you do everything collaboratively?
Jim: It changes song by song. There's no real formula or set of rules for how we go about writing or creating something. A lot of the time I'll have an idea--it might be a fully fleshed out song, or it might be little parts--but it'll go through the band editing process.
Sometimes [the song] won't change very much and sometimes it'll end up being nothing like it originally started out. Or occasionally we'll just be playing together and someone will be goofing around on a part, or not even paying attention to what they're doing, and it might set off an idea in somebody else.
