"In the beginning, my dad was like, 'OK. This [show] is different.' But he always encouraged me to audition. Every audition's important. Who knows? If you get it, it'll stretch you as an actress. I definitely think it has. It's a very intense piece and it requires a lot of me every night. A lot of my mental, emotional and physical energy."
