Working for the magazine and site has even helped me grow in my personal life. While at first I was wary about working for an organization that is so vocal about teens and sex, I soon realized that Sex, Etc. is exactly where I belong. I feel so strongly about the need for good education in all areas of life, especially sexuality.

I'm no longer ashamed to admit that I'm a girl who knows what she's talking about when it comes to sex, contraception, sexual orientation and body image. If teenagers can access accurate, honest information, they will be better able to protect themselves, and will be more likely to have safe, positive sexual experiences.

Through working with Sex, Etc., I've decided I want to major in psychology, hopefully specializing in gender and sexuality issues.
