"I was a total nerd in school. I was always the one who knew the answer, but didn't want to raise her hand because I didn't want to look like a dork, but I was, totally. I always came home, did my homework and went to bed. I was kind of a loner, but because I wanted to be. I've been doing a show every year since 6th grade, so I haven't really been to a full year of school ever, so no one at my school really knows me for who I am. Whenever I was at school, I would always be wishing to be in another show just because I love it so much."

"I never had people be openly mean to me, but I know a lot of people who have had preconceived notions about me. When they got to know me, they were like, 'Oh. You're really cool.' And I'm like, 'I never was a snob.' It's hard because if you don't talk about it, people think you think you're too good and if you do talk about it, you're bragging, so it's really hard either way."
