My name, Elizabeth, is from my mother. We have the exact same name (first, middle, and last) so I'm really a Jr. It doesn't say so on my birth certificate, but I sign my name with the Jr. and use it all of the time. Elizabeth means "God's promise" which is a good meaning to have, I guess, because it makes me feel special, like I really do belong where I am. It also has a lot of nicknames, so my friends actually call me Liz, along with any other names they can think up along the way.
