You can always tell when a substitute teacher comes to my name in the role call. A pause, a puzzled expression, and a sigh. I usually just raise my hand and say, "I'm here. It's Morwynne [pronounced more-win]." And of course they always have to ask where it came from. Ladies and Gentlemen... I was named after a backup singer from the LP "Sapphire."
