Okay, This Is What You Should Do
I say that you should talk to someone about it. Confront the person and ask them if they hate you only because of your race. Then explain that such judgements are unfair. Do keep in mind that you do not want to become physical so keep the convo to a minimum. --Posted by shantel24 06:46PM EST 04/26/06

FAGEDABOUTDIT!!!
Being made fun of sucks. So the esiest thing you can do is forget about it! Words are just words...and yeah they sting, but they don't last. Be the stonger person and just walk away... --Posted by xxxbangxxx 02:02AM EST 04/26/06

I had the same problem.
Yeah, as the title says, I had the same problem in elementary school where I was discriminated for being middle-class and having tan skin! Even here in Mexico! Yeah, well, I learned the best to do is ignore them. Well, not just ignore them, but not care about they say. I mean, who cares? They're soooo inmature, maybe even jealous of you (I know it's the typical thng parents tell you, but I've seen it proven true a couple of times). Even JOINING their game works as a way to say, "I don't really care about what you say and I'm only taking it as a game" and it disappoints them. If you don't care it won't bother you and it will be boring for them to keep on bothering you.
And overall: Be proud! You're way better than them anyway! --Posted by gacela 08:50PM EST 04/25/06

Who Cares?
Just be proud of who you are and where you come from! Who cares what other people think of you? If they make fun of you and say mean things in Spanish, be like, "I thought you didn't like Spanish people, why are you speaking Spanish then?" The world would be a boring place if everyone was the same color and all that. Be proud of your heritage and who you are.
