	i'm the only skater girl... no one else at school is gay my friends say i'm an oreo goth and proud of it i'm mormon and my friends tease me being confident is boring... i get teased me because i'm jewish... i play football my mom won't let me wear a thong... i want to be a singer. i'm labeled as the black girl who acts "white." it's so annoying.

I'm always labeled as the black girl who acts "white" because I use proper English, get good grades and stay out of trouble.

I normally laugh and just play it off, but it gets so annoying. Why do people spend their time labeling me? And what can I do about it?

    It Happens To Me Too!
    I get that all the time. It doesn't help that I have a high pitched voice either. I actually had two white girls come up to me and tell me I talk exactly like a white girl. It hurts my feelings because I don't like it when people put labels on others. Then I get picked on by my brother because he said I like too many "white" guys. Even my dad said that. That made me feel so mad because there is nothing wrong with that. I just don't talk about my crushes any more. You're not alone by any means!

    I know exactly how it feels.
    I get called that all the time. Sometimes people do it as an insult, but I guess that's just how people think of me. Embrace the fact that you're not like everybody else!

    Why white?
    Next time it happens, explain that you actually act Asian. Maybe then they'll realize how ridiculous they sound with their labels and racial profiles.

    My bestfriend
    I have a best friend who gets labeled like that too and I love her to death. But the truth is that most black girls at my school try to act too ''ghetto'' and they think they can beat everyone up. I mean you probably have a lot more class anyway.
