I can hear my mom having sex with her boyfriend at night and it bothers me. I'm too embarrassed to say anything to her because it would be really awkward. What should I do?

Well...
What I would do (but this only works if you have a room next to them) knock on the wall really hard! And if you feel like it, add in someting like "Can you guys keep it down?" or "I'm trying to read in peace!" If you don't have a room next to them... just knock on the door. And walk away. And if they say something like "Don't come in now!' or "We're busy" just say "I know your busy... thats why I'm knocking!" Lol. That would be funny. --Posted by moongirl444 07:08PM EST 06/06/07
I know exactly what you are going through.My mom and her boyfriend used to do the same thing.It would be a school night and I would be awake still and I would hear it.So one day i told my mom I knew that she was having sex and that it was bothering me.Guess what it did...NOTHING.So I would say just tell your mom that you hear her at night having sex.What I would do is listen to music or get up and slam your door so they know you are still up.It does get really sickening after a while because I would try to go to sleep but I couldn't fall asleep with al the noise. --Posted by mami_chicana53 11:25AM EST 06/06/07

Say something to your mom like, "Hey mom, do you mind if you and your boyfriend do what...uh...you do (if you want to say "have sex," go for it-some people aren't comfortable with it) when I'm not around?
