Best advice
So your mom read your diary. What can you do now besides 1. hiding it AGAIN or 2. addressing to her that you feel she abused your privacy? My mom went through my diary and wasn't too happy...but I addressed her because I felt she was wrong. Of course your mom is going to be in denial and say, "I AM YOUR MOTHER! So what," but in reality we all know that you are entitled to your own privacy. YOUR MIND is your OWN and that is your space--and it is private.
You shouldn't feel the need to hide because it all comes down to her respecting your space as a person rather than just a daughter. She needs to give you that room so that you can learn on your own but along with her guidance. You know?
Don't worry, it's not the end of the world that she read your diary. Why don't you write an entry saying how bad you feel that your mom invaded your privacy. JOT YOUR TRUE THOUGHTS DOWN...and if she reads that hopefully she'll feel guilty, lol, and will begin to respect you as a young lady.

Hmm...
That's really embarrasing. But if anything, find a moment when you're both by yourselves and tell her that you were kind of annoyed that she read your diary and that you feel she doesn't trust you. That way you'll even get WHY she read it in the first place!

That's so horrible. I feel for you--that's happened to me too. First, get a new diary with a lock, and then find a new hiding place. Then, make sure you're the only one with a key to your diary! From now on, tell your mom if she wants to know what's going on in your life, she should ask you, not your diary!

CHANGE IT GET ONE WITH A KEY!
change it! get a new diary with a key on it and then buy an anklet and put da key in it and wear the anklet 24/7! if she asks why just say that you need a little privacy........... dats wat i do, its very effective!

im sorry that she read your diary and i dont really know what to tell you to solve your problem besides a. hiding it better, b. talking to her about it, or c. not writting stuff like that in it...but look on the bright side, my mom read about my suicide plans, your mom only found out that you masterbated.
