My parents have been divorced for over ten years now so I go to my dad's house every other weekend. Lately, though, when I get home from my dad's, everything in my room is out of place. I even had a fashion magazine in a pile of stuff behind my bed and I found it on the coffee table in the family room. A lot of stuff like this has happened to make it obvious that my mom has been snooping. It's really annoying because she can't respect my privacy! How can I make her stop?

    Don't sweat it
Girl don't sweat it. Parents are going to be like that. Any way, just don't put anything special in there for a wile. If she goes snooping through your stuff again ask her without an atitude, say, "Mom please stop going through my stuff because I really need privacy sometimes." I'm sure she'll understand.

    Try to talk with her
My mom snoops sometimes too. I think the best thing is to ask her if you can have a mother duaghter talk with her. Then tell her how you feel about her going through your stuff and ask her what's bothering her.

Maybe she just feels cut off from your life and doesn't know what to do. Let her know that you care and try to involve her in your life.
