I think you should definitely talk to your parents about it. But before you do, you could get a tutor and then your parents would know that you want to raise your grade and that it is important to you, too. Good luck! --Posted by irissiri 10:31AM EST 03/30/04

The same scenario happened to me. Ask the teacher if you can do some extra credit work to bring up your grade. It never hurts to ask. --Posted by oranj_kat 10:31AM EST 03/30/04

Don't worry the exact same thing is happening to me. Just calmly sit your parents down on a non-busy night. Tell them (it'll be hard) CALMLY that you have been having trouble with math. Just tell them directly what you need help with and don't be scared. Parents understand most when you are honest and respectful. --Posted by vicsdq2 10:31AM EST 03/30/04

Well girl my advice to you is do your best to try and pull it up but don't tell your parents! I told my parents that I had a "D" in one of my classes and they went crazy and put me on punishment. Don't tell them just yet unless it is already on your report card. --Posted by dymiandprincess 10:31AM EST 03/30/04

If you're worried that you're failing math you should talk to your teacher about it and ask if there's any way to get help. You should also tell your parents that you're having problems in this class and that you might need a tutor. I'm sure your parents will understand because math can be a difficult subject. --Posted by baby_gurl820 10:31AM EST 03/30/04
