i luv low rise jeans they look really good on me coz i have a nice bum and legs, and sort of detracts attention from my kind of flat chest! i dont like them when theyre too low though, or when big people wear them and fat hangs over the jeans, eww. i am not making fun of big people, coz i hang around with a few big people, but they should dress for their shape.
also i dont like it when everyone can see your bum when you bend over, lol! but otherwise theyr cool!

Depends on How Low They Go
When it comes to pants, extremes are unattractive. High-waisted pants do not look nice on even the thinnest of people - they elongate your backside and emphasize a poochy lower belly, and they look especially ridiculous on short-waisted people. On the other hand, extreme low-rise pants are too revealing and can only really be pulled off by those with little or no body fat. There is nothing wrong with lower rise pants that stop a bit below your belly button - these are the pants that will help hold in your lower belly and won't put your underwear on display when you sit down. Not all pants are made the same - there are some low-rise pants that are quite flattering; you just have to look for them. Most stores do carry a variety of styles.

It's not Half-Moon Friday.
It's Casual Friday. Can I find one, just one pair of great jeans for work that won't gap under every sweater, won't flash undies in any position, aren't elderly elasti-waist taperbottoms? No. But that is all there is in the stores. Low waist or granny pants, or natural waist but with ridiculous "roomy" hips and thighs and/or tapered legs. Ew!
I am short. I have snake hips. I have a long torso. Low waist/hiphugger jeans do me no favors at all. I'd like not to have to wear tunic shirts and sweater coats to cover my rear, which is supposed to be one of the jobs of pants!
Good for you if you like them. But I want a better selection, please! I have more luck finding custom toothpaste.

I think low-rise jeans are annoying to wear, and I also think they tend to detract from modesty in today's society. They may be considered "in" and "normal" in today's shopping world, but I think they practically invite bare midriffs which can lead to distasteful halters, cleavage, and the like. I am very happy with my full-rise jeans.

Most of the people I see wearing them tend to pair it with a midriff baring shirt and a good portion of the girls who wear the pants happen to have chubby hips. I really don't want to see someone's love handles, stretch-marks, and what have you. Fat haning over your jeans is in no way sexy.

I think they're cute but i got a big ass so i can't wear em because i dont want everyone seeing my crack. higher jeans hold in your waist and stomach a little better too. some people should take note of that.
