clone all hotties!!!!
no seriously, I think there should be a cap on what is cloned and it should be regulated so as to benefit certain aspects of health and medicine, but this would require a ton of the kind of pre-thought and scientific investment that today's leaders just aint payin enough attention to. that's sad. So instead, I revert back to my joking part, which I guess would be nice too: Clone all hotties!! ;)

Cloning is great! Maybe they now they can bring back indangered species like the dodo. I think human cloning is non sense because there is no sense of cloning more of us, there is already too many.

i dont really know how i feel about it but someone on the dis it side said that clones could play dirty tricks on you and people could mistake them for you i think that whoever said that has been watching to many cartoons... they are born as babies. they dont come out looking just like you and the same age as you you are going to look different just because of the age difference

I believe that cloning would be great to clone organs and other things like that for transplants. That way, there could always be a kidney match, or a heart match, or whatever. They do need to do more research on it, to perfect it. But I do think it could do great things for mankind.

A very important part of science.
I think cloning may help the world in a major way. Families would probably make more money because the mum could go work while her clone picks up the children and cooks dinner, or vise versa.
Anywho, I think it would help the world much more, especially if these clones had just as much of a keen mind as their originals.
And whoever said Science doesn't have anything to do with the human race? Think before you speak. Science IS the human race. Without science, we would still be making fire with rocks.

Parts not whole
When the amount of people who are on the donor list waiting for someone else to die so they can live I think it would it great if we had the ability to clone parts of a person like the liver, heart, lung,etc. However I am against cloning an entire person.

I do believe that it is an important scientific discovery to know how to clone something, but there really is no good, practical use for clones in the world, so I don't really find it NECESSARY.

Furthering the success rate of cloning could lead to more important scientific dicoveries. We are not up to the level of mass production and distribution of clones, so the fear of clones replacing real humans is ridiculous. Besides, I don't believe in God so there is nothing ethically wrong about cloning in my eyes.

It's so wrong!
I totally disagree with it. God is the one who made human. We can never be as perfect as Him and neither can we replace Him. What happens if the cloned person goes horribly wrong. He might have a failing health at a young age, or some sort of problem with his/her health due to the scientist's mistake and lack of studies. There may be thousands of disadvantages with the cloned person and he/she had to suffer it. Don't forget, he/she is a human now, with feelings and emotions too.

I don't like the fact of cloning a human, I'm sure it would feel good to the person who's doing, like their a God or something but that's just it. They're God moding and that's just not right, if so God would have let us discover cloning sooner it, it would have been in the bible. God made ONE of you, even twins can be different. You're suppose to be unique and not like everyone else. I would not want to clone myself, for one it's creepy and two I just don't like it nor agree.

Cloning is either wrong or simply pointless.It's awful that anyone could think of cloning another person simply to kill them for their organs. And if they are simply cloned and aloud to live, think! We already have over population and starvation, how is cloning extras or using so much money to save others helping?

I've seen a movie when a person cloned themselves before they died. But when the clone pretended to be the person the family didnt like it because it didnt feel right, there wus something wrong. well, obviously the clone isnt even real!

Who gave them the right to play God? No one should have that type of power...we are getting too smart for our own good. We dont need to know EVERYTHING. That will hurt us more than help us. If they want to make more people then go have babies the way God intended!

Since when do people actually want another one of themselves? Even if I didn't think it was wrong, who would seriously want to have less individuality? People would forget who you are. It's like becoming an object or something. It reminds me of Buzz Lightyear.
