planes are exciting and watnot, but very scary when it coems to terrorism and stuff like thaT..and im very nervous for like crashes and stuff..that goes for vehicles 2.

I've flown in planes since I was little, and I used to love it, especially being in the clouds. Since 9/11, I've been a little scared, but in reality flying is probably safer now since they're so viligant about it. I still like it. C'mon - are you really gonna let some evil guys w boxcutters ruin a perfectly good invention?

I flew for the first time when I was three, and I have loved it ever since. I even flew a few months after the terror attacks with no more than the usual jitters. It is just a great experience and so much more fun than driving somewhere. I love to travel and what better way to do it than in a plane with stewardesses at your service and complimentary movies, music, and meals? I wish our family could afford to do it more often.

Planes are cool and pretty exciting when you are a little kid, but I have been flying since I was one year old and now it can get VERY boring! Especially on 18 hour international flights. Still, I love going to different places and being able to visit my relatives on the other side of the planet.

while I am always 100% nervous for a potential crash, I love nothing more than travelling.. I LIVE to travel... I was nervous like when I flew to england.. but Its so much fun its worth it.

I know you all think that planes are unsafe and shi*. But planes are more safe than cars actually. So why aren't you people scared of driving in cars? Studies have proven that cars are WAY more unsafe than planes.

I love flyin in planes, even on long flights! i love seein all the pretty clouds and stuff, and at night u can see all da lights!and u get loads of stuff, like movies and games and stuff. but not so gr8 if u dont get 2 sit by the window, or get airsick or sit near sum1 who is airsick. and i hate plane food.

Why Not?
Planes are a great way to travel. I live in Tasmania and to get to Victoria etc. I can choose to travel ALL night on the boat or to travel for an hour on the plane. The boats are fun but travelling on the plane gets you there quicker giving you more time to spend shopping!

Not really safe
I travel a lot but planes are really not safe especially during a storm or somethin.Last time i went in a plane it nearly crashed because of the weather we were having..

The idea of getting to places fast is good, but the actually flying in them? Terrible. I'm one of those people forever cursed to sit next to someone smelly and ugly. You get SOOOOOOO bored and your butt is numb. I get headaches and you can't talk because you can't hear a word anyone says or sleep. I HATE RIDING IN PLANES!

Uhhhhgh. I really hate flying in planes. I love to travel, especially to foreign countries, and the easiest way is usually by plane. But I still don't like it. I get nervous. I don't know it it's because I get airsick or if it's because of 9/11. Whatever it is, plane rides really aren't my cup of tea.

my dad died in a plane crash when i was one. he was the pilot. the plane had a malfunction in the auto pilot system, because the tech-guys "forgot" to update it. ever since i haven't been able to trust planes. DOWN WITH THE WRIGHT BROTHERS!!!!!!!!!

Well it depends
I been on almost 10 plane rides, but this year when i went to boston, I felt so freakin sick coming home for some reason, I felt like i was going to barf, it doesnt bother me alot when my ears pop, and also going to the bathroom, I get terfied, cuz your moving alot but thats just me lol.

and its boring,the seats arnt always comfortable,sometimes they play a cheezy movie.

I went on a plane last year and had an anxiety attack. I was crying, yelling and I couldn't breath. it was awful. planes suck and I will never take one again.

Im scared
I flew in a plane for the first time this summer to go to Mexico for a school trip. We had a connecting flight to Atlanta and then to Mexico City. The first one wasnt that bad but that take off scared me to pieces. Feels kinda like a rollar coaster. Not cool. The landing isnt that bad at all. On the way back, that was horrible. Yeah I got sick on the last day of our trip. In the airport I had to just sit there while other kids went to eat and stuff. I had to run to the bathroom 5 times because I felt like puking. I had hot and cold flashes, it was bad. On the plane, my friend I was sitting by didnt want to sit with a sick person and neither did another friend that sat next to a sick guy with us. So, I had to sit with the guy because we were both sick and I guess he was feeling better but I obviously wasnt. The take off wasnt bad but the one time I got a window seat I had to shut the thing because looking out the window made me light headed. About 20 min in the flight I barfed but in a bag that I already had cuz of previous feeling earlier in the day. You would never believe how fast my guy friens shot up from his seat. He went to find another seat and I was left there by myself with my barf. He He But, the attendent brought me some sweet breathmints.

I understand the concept, but still...
I know it gets you places reall quickly, but I am terrified of flying. I know they don't go down often, btu I have always been afraid of flying. I just hate that thought where if something goes wrong, you are a few miles in the air, and you can't do shit about it. I also get really sick when I fly. Prolly from my nerves. And my ears always clog from the pressure. I just hate it so much.
