Rewards and sacrafice
I'm not much of a sports person (at all) But if sports camp is anything like band camp you work your asss of in the hot sun, with crappy food in your stomache churnning unpleasently with the gatorade your body is screaming for. Then at night you just party and relax in the rec room. If thats what sports camp is like, i love it!

I love going to sports camps!
I just got back two days ago from a volleyball camp at Kent State in Ohio. It was so much fun because you get away from your parents(and your siblings) and you learn thing that the coaches at school never tell you. I learned so many new things i was amazed! I just really like going away for a few days and plus the act that I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE volleyball too!

Im in colorguard and band camp is one hell ride. And if sports camps are the same then they are pretty rad. You get so much out of working your body until it feel like its going to collapse and then just continue going. You can expand what you believe is your limit and its a reward to know that you worked your ass off for something. Also its great discipline and you make bunches of friends! Also you get to get away from your siblings that youve see for most of the summer and probably have gotten sick of lol.

Sports camps are awesome
when you want to get better at your sport. I go to Volleyball Camps and Basketball Camps.
You learn alot of new stuff, and even though usually after the week is up I feel like Ive been run over by a semi truck (cause im so sore) lol, I still love them.

Softball Camp
I just came back from softball camp on Friday. It was a VA Tech. It was so awesome. The staff there takes time to really work with you. I learned so much about the outfield (right field) that I never could have learned from my coach at home. Overall it was a good experience. We even had a water balloon fight.

Not everybody will agree w/ me, since I'm a MAJOR soccer freak, but sports camps rockkk!!!
You are spending a week (or more) with people who are totally different from you, yet you can relate because of your love of the game.
I probably sound like a complete sports nut, but get used to it, 'cause I am. :)

I absolutely LOVE soccer! i really wanted to go to soccer camp this year, but i went to a stinky math camp instead.:( if soccer camp is anything like the one in the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, it must ROCK!

Sports camp is the best. I always go when I am off season so it's great conditioning and you meet a lot of new people.

i may not play on a team but i love playing sports
its the adrenalen rush of playing the sport that i love even if i hate losing lol. so a camp just 4 sports i totally dig.

sports camps are deffinatley the best. hanging with your friends, cute guys and lots of games...what else could you want!? you get to meet new ppl who share the same intrests as you..its soo fun!

Discipline And Hard-work Pays Off In The End
I just got back from a Notre Dame hockey summer camp and it was ah-mazing! Sure it was tiring and thee food tasted like cement. Sure it was harder than anything I've ever done and I can hardly move I feel so stiff now. Sure I had to do ten hours work out on 6 hours of sleep and sure I learned that a 2 and a half mile jog is considered a warm up. But for the most part is was one of the best experiences in my life. I've learned new things about hockey and how to use self-discipline in sports. I made tons of new friends from all over the world (including Germany) and uncovered my major fine play- making skills. I got to show off my skills and I got to show up tier one guys (I'm a girl who plays guys hockey and is always told I can't live up to a guy's tier one level)and now finally scouts realize that I am jsut as skilled as they are. But most importantly camps like these show you how to make it to your overall goal and that's the whole point of working hard at something you love.

Improve your game, Meet cool people!
I just got back from a field hockey camp at the university of Michigan. The coaches and the players were the ones who oversaw and staffed the camp. I learned more there than I did at other camps I have been to. But really any camp gives you the opportunity to learn things, to meet other people who play your sport. And from those other people you can learn a lot about yourself and your skill level, as well as make life long friends!

Sports camps are amazing. They give you a chance to improve your game. I went to a basketball camp, got scouted and now I have a scholarship to college.

Hahah I hate sports. Which is why I think sports camp is a form of unessary torture. I spent my entire school year scheming on how to skip PE. No way am I a sports camp person.

Sports + me = X(
I hate sports so of course I wouldn't really like going to a sports camp I also think its a waste of summer getting sweaty all the time when its already 100 degrees in the shade or something
