I love guns and I think everyone should learn a little about them, Guns do not kill the people, It's the person holding the gun. The more we know how they work and such the better off we are with them.

Guns are awesome!
My family keeps two guns for protection and for sport. I've gone shotting with them before and I've gotten really good at it. They are alot of fun and I think everyone should have one in their home whether its for sport or for protection.

Ehh.....
I don't think guns are really a love or hate thing for me. They're a part of my life. My boyfriend is a gun owner and a member of the NRA. He goes almost everywhere with that gun and wants a concealed weapons permit. He wants to buy me one for my birthday too. He's teaching me to shoot. It's a lot of fun, I'll admit. But I know that guns are dangerous if not handled right. I know that when I'm around them I have to be more careful than normal. I dunno...I have a mix of feelings about them.

Guns Can Protect
People are against guns because they can be used as weapons...well thats fine and all, but they can also protect people.
If someones trying to break into your house and your alone, hello....easy way to protect yourself.
If your on a blind date and you go back to your house or something and he starts getting all agressive with you, scare him into thinking your gonna shoot him. He'll go away.

Guns should be used for protection only
I'm kinda on the latter, leaning towards both sides on this. I think guns are unnecessary unless they are used for protection and/or self defense but even with that something can always go wrong. I do agree with the sane "guns don't kill people, people kill people." And we should have the right to bare arms. But if there was less access to guns there would be less violence. I defiantly think there should be stricter gun laws as well as deeper back ground checks done in this country, especially after what happened in Virginia. If people take this more seriously it could prevent things like that from happening. But sadly, with guns or without there will always be violence in the world. I?m all for self protection but I will never think guns are cool.

Let's think logically...
What is the main purpose for guns? To threaten or kill a person or animal. I believe murder is wrong. I think it should be much harder to buy a gun, use a gun, and obtain a gun lisence. Not just handguns, any gun.

Okay, I know that it is true that it is not the gun that kills the person, it's the person who's holding the gun. But seriously. Look at all the bad things happening out there, with or without guns. There's a lot of stupid violent idiots out there. So yeah, giving the stupid violent idiots lethal weapons is such a good idea! Not. Guns are pointless. They really don't accomplish anything worth doing. If you want to keep your home safe, lock it up and get a security system. Keeping a gun in your house? No. Do you have any idea how many child deaths there have been because a kid has found one and thought it was cool because they saw it on tv? They accidentally shoot themselves or someone else. Really, they are useless-they just add to all the dumb decisions the human world as a whole has made.

Unnesscessary
I think all guns should be relatively cheap... but I think bullets should cost $1,000 a piece. There needs to be a tighter system for gun registration, people often fall through the cracks. I believe in gun control. Why does anyone in the world truly need a gun?
