War Sucks
Why fight when there is so many more better options?! I think that war is just a silly way for people to feel like they contribute to society! The government shouldn't bring our mothers and fathers and boys and girls out to die! It is useless!Why does the world revolve around poularity, sex, and war?!

free speech is the most important part of america, not flag waving or silence or fear. anti war protests, like any other protests are vital to democracy. plus, i have been to one, and they are amazing. it is not all about screaming and violence, as some would like you to belive. they are all about people coming together to share in their desire for a better world.

Why is anti -war dissed. Is peace not wanted anymore. What happened to solving diputes by TALKING, not fighting. Innocent lives are dying in vain and people injured for lost causes. Imagine your brother on the front-lines. You'd be anti-war too. I rather protest and maybe be heard versus doing nothing at all.

Awareness
Anti-war protests make people aware of what is really going on in Iraq for example and in other places we go to war with. So i say go ahead and protest. Its your right. I am personally against war and for world peace. Even tho i know it will never happen i think it would be great to have world peace. Dont you???

anti-war protest are very good
I personaly think that anti-war protest are a good way of expressing people's feelings towards the war. Alot of people disagreed with what the president decided and iam one of those people. I feel strongly that the war could have been avoided and that we jumped into in way before we knew what we were getting into..war is neccassary in some cases and this time war wasnt the answer. You dont ever hear much bout the war anymore even though countless amounts of soilders have been dying for a reason that could have been solved without war.....but what can i say we live in a world where people wish to take the easy way out and in this case it was the war.

I think it's a good thing, about anti-war protesting. Even though others say it's no good, and your voice is not heard. That is just the opposite. Your voice is heard, atleast it's away of showing your country that you give a damn about one of it's many issues. I am not a fan of G.Bush, but were stuck with him for the time being, atleast let our voices be heard, one way or the other.

protestin shows you cant take anymore and you dont want to take anymore.war will effect us sooner or later. unless you want to wake up to a bomb comin to your house, than this needs to stop. so many things that are killin ppl besides war. its not right.

as long as you know what you're protesting about. Don't be a political moron and just protest because, 'We can talk things out. They will listen. We can have a peace treaty!' Yeah and then we can have a little pow-wow and share a peace-pipe. Right Now: If you want to make a peace treay with the terrorists by all means go ahead, I hope we don't get bombed again and innocent Americans are killed once again because, I don't want thousands of people's deaths on my conscience.
If you're going to protest the war have a good reason not just "We Need To Talk Things Out. We Need Peace." or "My Son/Daughter Died in the War Bring our Troops Home." If the war is really unnecessary, you can protest, if we have Absolutely NO REASON to be there helping/fighting some then you can protest. Sure freedom to protest, but come on, we're suppose (supposed) to be a civilized, cultured nation, you at can least pay attention to the reasons we're fighting.

I like George Bush, &I don't see how come people hate him because of the war. If Al Gore had been elected he would have most likely done similar things. This needed to happen, &I don't get HOW you can hate George Bush for declaring war on a country that destroyed the lives of many innocent people. I'm against anti-war protests, because of all the ones America has had in its history have been for the best in my opinion. Without some of these wars, odds are our country wouldn't still be free.

Protesting used to have a point. But lately it just seems like people are following an Anti-Bush trend, which isn't fair to people whose family members went into the army because they can't afford an education without the scolarship. It's blown out of proportions. If we're going to have soldiers overseas, we need to support them not demean their purpose.

While other contries are killing out people and hurting our contry we just sit there and take it? We need to do something or they wont stop. The people we send over there sign up for the army. Its sad and stuff, i know i have a family member over there but they want to do it for us. We need to do something. How do you think we gained respect from other countries. Protesting the war isnt gonna get you anywhere. George W. Bush didnt listen to the UN what make you think he's going to listen to you?
I personally dont appreciate all the hate on the war. my brother is about to go and fight and i dont want him to be unappreciated. He's going to fight for me and you to keep us safe and fight for a good cause.
Before the war Saddam Hussein was killing his OWN people! He was an evil man that deserved to be taken out.
Do any of you remember Sept. 11? Do you remember how horrible it was and who did it to us? Its the people we're fighting so they dont attack us again!
Protesting is ridiculous. By doing that your saying "hey terrorists! we dont support our country. you win!"
So instead of picking up a protest sign, pick up a piece of paper and write a note to a soldier and tell them what a great job they're doing for us, because theyre putting their life on the line so you can sleep peacefully and free.
