I mean, I've been out with guys who have the same birthday as my little sister! But they're only 2 years younger than me. Just as long as you don't end up like a girl I know... 14 years old and dating a 10 year old boy.

yeah, like if you're happy with a person than age doesn't matter, and age gaps seem bigger the younger the people are, ex:2 and 5 are worlds apart,14 and 17 are a distance but no biggie and 20 and 23 are nothing, so it alsp depends how old you are but still; it's number that's all.

My dad is actually seven years older than my mum and it doesnt bother me or them but to be honest when your like ten its weird. Imagine an 11 year old going out with an 18 year old. But a year or 2 when your young is fine.

Dating someone younger
I think it is ok for someone to date someone younger because age aint nothing but a number and if you really like that person you shouldn't let your age get in the way of you feelings.

it really depends, if the guy is like 5 years younger than you, not good. but if its like 2 months, good. and all you peeps over 16, dont date anyone below 16!!!!!

I did it once, and it didn't work out at all. I just felt too weird and I felt like I was having to play mother to him. I definately prefer to date guys who are older. I celebrated my boyfriend's birthday yesterday, he's 22, and hext year we'll be house hunting, or building. Can't do that with a guy who's fresh out of high school for me.

not to be rude, but....
i don't date younger people. unless they are a few months, or at the most 1 or 2 years, in between us, I don't feel comfortable dating someone younger. there are those little things that can change in a few years. take for example the difference between a 10 year old and a 13 year old. an it's the same for 13 and 15, 16 and 18, 19 and 21, and so on.

I've had bad relationship experiences with two younger guys, one by a year and a half, one by two years. No matter how "adult" they seem in the beginning, the maturity difference becomes more and more apparent the longer you're with them.
