well i guess yall are talkin bout the lotion stuff n spray tan.. but i have a tannin bed in our house.. cuz im white.. like really white.. so i lay in it to look better cuz i have dark hair n i dont wanna be lookin goth.. n i look good with a tan.. i mean i look good without one to, but its just way better with a tan.. but sometimes people think im mexican so thats not a good thing but still.. as long as you dont look fake its all good

I have done the lotion thing and it sux. If you go in a tanning bed even once a week. You come out with a tan not orange and it`s just as bad as the real sun. You also get vitam D which good for you. Going in a tanning bed is so relaxing

I'm ok with it.
I mean people have their opinions on fake tans, but I like it...I mean some people don't want to look albino (sp?) so they get a tan to look a little bit darker! I mean come on...seriously, do you want look dead? I think a lot of girls pull it out but some girls just take it way to far and turn orange.

i use a little bit of self tanner, but never overboard like paris hilton. i'm extremely pale which looks okay in the winter, but i would rather have a tan. i can certainly burn and freckle, however, i cant tan. its always a better alternative to fake tan than going to a tanning bed or sunbathing, if you care about what you look like 10 years from now. my cousin is only 26 and she looks like someone closer to her 40's and she has a very dried out, prune-like appearance from the sun. and my aunt got skin cancer...so given all of that, fake tans are a-ok. lol.

I'm in the middle on this.
Well,I am naturally tanned. But since my eating habits are starting to be horrid I'm losing alot of colour in my face.
Not enjoying it. You CAN look orange but,it depends on the brand and if you apply it evenly.
Though,my style favourism changes. So,I 'll probobly stop using it. Its pretty though,not orange at all.

I love it.
A tan from a tanning bed looks great or if u get a proffesional spray tan. But people that put the cheap lotion on themeselves look bad.

I have been tanning 2-5 times a week for over a year. And love it. Going in the bed looks good. and getting airbrush tanning looks good too. But doin it urself doesnt. Instead of buying ur crappy lotion go buy a tanning package.

Not much of a diffrence...
Well my mom goes into a tanning bed and you can hardly tell the diffrence between her and a person who tanned normally. I hate going in the sun(Im a vampire! Run or I will suck your blood! lol)so I should start it but I'm apparentally to young. So really all of you saying the only reason its bad is because it turns you orange your being stupid because if you get it put on RIGHT then its not bad. If you put it on yourself with crappy self tanners then yeah you will look orange. Also I hate going in the sun for the fact I'm pale otherwise I wouldnt have a problem. So its kinda hard to go outside to tan if you dont want people to see your paleness. And my neighbors are very nosy so this is possible. The last part of this was made to waste your time. Good day. Natural versus artificial
I'm not going to stop you or anything, but in my opinion, if you want a tan, go outside. Naturally, our skin tone corresponds with our hair color. This is on purpose, because our bodies want us to be pretty. Artificial coloring defeats this balance, but if you soak up some sun the coloring adjustments are NATURAL (so the match your coloring). It's also a great way to get Vitamin D AND it stimulates hormones that put you in a better mood.

Fake tans, such as the spray ons look HORRIBLE and orange. You turn out looking like an Oompa Loompa.
