i like it!
its the only store i can really get band tee's and everything. they have some good south park and happy bunny shirts and some other cute tops to but i wouldnt wear ne of the pants they r to "gothish" 4 me lol i really like the lil happy bunny perfumes their they smell soo good and i like alot of their jewlery and stuff

i dont think hot topic is for punks and goths. im not punk or goth and ive got a lot of stuff from there. its just a store in the mall that sells music and movie merchandise and just because they have some goth/punk stuff doesn't make them a goth/punk store. most goth/punk people i know dont even shop there.

Although I dont really dress in most hot topic things the clothing is pretty cool! I like that new thing they have now where you can make your own t-shirt its pretty cool.

I think it's nice 2 have a place that sells clothes like that. Just cuz SOME PEOPLE don't like the clothes or w-e doesn't mean someone else doesn't as well. It's capital-k-cool to have a place 2 buy name brand clothes that match your mood without having 2 go 2 a prep store....SO HAH!

Totally awesome!
Personally, I love Hot Topic. It's a place where I can jsut get away from the hectic world outside of those doors. The music is great, the people are incredibly cool, and the merch absolutely rocks!

Dis, they claim to be punk - yet if you are punk then you buy your clothes second hand and custom them, you do not buy them from an overpriced chain store with ready-made everyone-owns-one punk clothing. I am sick of going to rock clubs and seeing little kids that look like they have come straight out of a hot topic catalog.

I think hot topic is ripp off, and like i like to dress originally, like really different from most people, and everyone that is punk or goth get stuff from there, and that sucks. The whole point of it it`s for those that want to be original, but how can u if everyone dresses like that?There should not only hottopic but a lot of different stores with a lot of variety, i hate when people know where u bought ur stuff.

Okay i will go there for like hip hop shows (like say i am going to another dance studios performance) i will go and get some of those baggy pants with the chains and stuff hangin.and cut up my dance top. and wear like some nike shox but i wont shop there on a regular basic it creeps me out to be for real it aint bright enough for me and i new brightness in my eyes to survive!

CAN'T STAND IT
i cannot stand that store! whenever i go in there, i feel extremely uncomfortable, and i always get mad whenever my friend drags me in there for more than five minutes. it's like you can't be in there if you don't wear all black without people staring at you weird, or if you're wearing like abercrombie or pacsun or "preppy" clothes like that, they stare at you weird, and it 's totally rude. the workers are weird, like one of them i went to had a transexual in there! he was a guy with boobs and a dress! it should be like, illegal to have it

I really despise that store. It gives all the "real" goths and punks a bad name. It's so mainstream and just crawling with disgusting little posers who actually know nothing whatsoever about goth or punk, but think because they shop at hot topic, they're a "true" goth/punk.
