I saw The Grudge II the weekend it came out (I'm a huge fan of the original American adaptation, though I've never fully watched Ju-On: The Grudge)... and I thought it was AMAZING. It had a very different kind of shock-value from the first movie, but convincing nonetheless. True to its original Japanese counterpart, in the second movie, a lot of loose ends are tied up, as well as a brand new cast of characters brought in to further develop and bring to light Kayako's chilling past. Like the first Grudge, this second one also leaves the audience hanging - which only means more room for another sequel! (I suppose it helps that I'm used to watching Japanese horror flicks and that I understand most of the cultural references that would leave many American viewers confused and irritated.) I would say that if you're a horror buff like me, this is definetely one to look into! :D

I didn?t think it was scary but the seven people in the row in front of me couldn?t stop screaming and they were in their mid twenty?s through mid thirties. I though it was funny. Defiantly go see if you get scared easy or think horror is funny like me.

I like mostly all scary movies..
so id probally like the grudge 2 since i liked grudge 1 (no i havent seen grudge 2 yet but i hope to see it soon!)

I was planning on seeing The Grudge 2 this weekend, but I'm hearing a lot of people say that it really isn't good. Now I might be changing my mind...
Might as well see it though, as the first one wasn't so bad.

that movie was mad good!!!!! i saw it wit my cuz on friday the 13. i thot it was betta than the first 1. it was kinda scary 2 tho. my favorite part was the guy on the bus makin those noises and puttin his hands in front of his face. i lmao! but the grossest part was the gurl throwin the milk bak up in the carton.... EWWWWW! i almost threw up myself. but yea it was good i loved it! although i was a lil scared that nite along wit my cuz soo i had 2 call my bf and he kept me up all nite. hope they come out wit a 3rd!!!!!

it scared the piss outta me. lol i have to sleep with the lite on. its really fun to watchin the theater cuz everyone gets to scream really loud. lol see it its soo much better than the first one

I didn't actually see it...
It's not really my choice in a movie but I applaud those who go to see it. I love going to see really lame movies just to see bloopers on screen ( like in the movie skeleton key when she pours out red sand all over the floor and when it shows her again its back in the bottle). I say if u wanna see it, go see it.

I really liked it. It kept me on my toes, and had me just scared enough to be able to cuddle up to my boyfriend in fear lol. It really scared me.

omg great movie!! sequels usually suck but i was surprised tht this was so good! jackie from roseanne as a killer, david arquette and courtney cox- great scene when theyre making out, it was kinda funny but really scary!!!

definition of a scary movie..
i loved going to see that movie. The story line wasn't great, but when i wanted to see a scary movie, i got what i asked for..a scary movie. Me and a couple other friends sat in the back, but we were in each-others laps the whole time, lol. I give it 2 thumbs up. I loved it.

i went 2 c The Grudge 2 as soon as it can out.I thought it was way better than The Grudge.I thought the 1st 1 was completely pointless,& really stupid.But I have 2 say sometimes it was really confusing on the setting&wat w/z goin on.

you might like it if you didn't see the first one. but if you have seen the first one, it's EXACTLY. THE. SAME. All the same scares, just with different characters. Some of the graphics are crap, as well, and we were laughing at all the "scary" parts. The preview for "The Messengers" that came before it was scarier than the movie!!!

Had some pretty horrible experiences with the first one. Basically, bad day the night we saw it, got really freaked out, and then a racoon stuck in the attic making grudge-like noises all night gave me nightmares. Then, like a week later, i re-watched it with some friends and the initial anxiousness and shock value was gone, so it was nothing but a pathetic, almost funny movie with horrible special effects. Since once again, that initial what's-gonna-happen-next feeling is gone, as I've heard the second is a lot like the first, I'm sure the movie won't phase me in the least and I really don't plan on ever watching it. Waste of time and money.

Sequels Suck.
Much worse than the first one. It wasn't even scary. It was the same plot as the first movie, but crappier. Me and my friends were laughing the whole time.

i thought it was dumb and not scary at all my friend jennifer and i (who watched it toghether) like were shakind our heads in disapproval
it didnt like ruin my life but its not like id say "oh lets watch Grudge 2"

wth happened.
i personally liked the first one. but i have no idea wat happened wit da second. it wasnt scary. and there was no ending. it jus stopped. like the last one atleast there was something left to think about. this one didnt come to a closeour [[spelling]] and it didnt leave a cliff hanger. i found it pointless

Wait 'Til Rental
If you really, really HAVE to see it wait until it come out for rental. I saw it in theatre, matinee thank God, I was expecting in to at lesat somewhat tie things up from the previous movie but it definately didn't. My mother said, "It was like someone kept telling the story, they were talking and talking but they weren't really saying anything." More people died, the curse spread, the end. And personally I didn't even think it was that scary, the shock factor was zero, maybe less. I was just pissed because nothing was really happening.
