Loved it!!!
How can you hate Tom Cruise?? That's just crazy talk! lol. I really liked the movie not just because Tom Cruise was in it lol.

coolest shit ever!
One of the most amazing films I've seen to date. First off, Tom Cruise is really good looking, the whole bit about the brother bieng the survivor and all that.... it was just a cheesy little fake happy ending. but I loved the last words of what the guy said - how the aliens had no immunity and were struck somewhat dead by manmade weapons, and man's (and earths) natural diseases. Except I think it would have taken years if nothing else for all the aliens to be killed off. But the little girls acting was EXCELLENT! I mean, her little screamfest was so good I just wanted to throw her out of the car and take a hachet to her if she didn't be quiet... (and this is why I will never have kids... ick). I think her name was Dakota Fanning, right? She was fantastic. The brother really had no point... and the news team crew was hilarious. Not to mention, unless you don't beleive in aliens, it was pretty realistic. It pretty much had me shaking and thinking the world was going to end about every day for 3 months after that. Signs was scary to me for a day or two, but it was just overly cheesy. This movie however, had me wanting to go blow my brains out if an alien attack ever occured. so def. Thumbs up! p.s. - did any of you get the scene w/ the old man that the father and daughter hid with?! Can we say child molestor?! very creepy. I think tom's actions (killing the guy) were completely justified. That guy was insane.

all my m8s sed they thought the ending was crap but i 4rt it was a gr8 film! it had me on the edge of my seat! its so gd! i luved it :)

Usually I absoloutley HATE scary movies of any kind or alien ones cuz their so STUPID but this one was great omg i love Dakota Fanning she is awsome! It was great it made me wanna watch it again and again even though i was scared sh*tless. hahahahah hahah
PS it got me and my friends talking about the end of the world too. Good times....

okay yes the movie was somewhat ridiculous but the people dying, getting disenergrated, the river of dead bodies and the craved man livinb in the basement, it won my heart.

Yeah. I like the movie. I'm very easily frightened. Yeah, yeah. Dakota Fanning is a good actor because I would have beat the crap out of her if she wouldn't shut up. I rented the DVD and watched it with the fam. I never really talked back to movies but me and my mom were YELLING at the movies. + we thought robbie was annoying too because he kept wanting to leave. all in all that movie wuz gud.

That movie is horrible
That movie is higly ridiculous. I wasted my 12 dollars on such bullsh*t. It was the predictable thing in the whole world. His son just happened to be the only survivor in that explosion? It was exaggerated and basically when the people who wrote it couldn't come up with anymore bullsh*t that seemed... REALISTIC... they started making the movie appear to be more sh*t and it eventually lost it's sense of veracity.

This movie was kind of annoying. The plot line was weird and it was just a waste of my time - I didn't really get into it. Luckily, I had my boyfriend along with me *wink wink* but still - a bad movie.
Tom Cruise is a pretty boy. He just annoys me SO MUCH, I don't know why.
