Sex Violence and Mickey Rourke
I loved Sin City, it was grapic, violent and fun. Mickey Rourke was great as Marv, Bruce Willis, Alexis Bleidel, Brittany Murphey, are all in my favorite actors list.Alot of people have been complaining about all of the hookers and violence, but it`s all in good fun, none of it is meant to be take seriously. And once again sex+violence= entertaining movie

Gorgeous! Visually stunning and brilliantly done! The fact that the director didn't change the content of the comics much just made it so much better than any other comic-to-film movie. The story telling is rich. And the women, while being scantily clad and sexy, were also very strong. What's not to love?

Who could not have loved that movie? it was so awesome and the way they only showed the colors red, yellow, omg that was a great idea. it added to the movie. Loved it, the violence, the deadly little pixie on the roof tops. Wow.

ok i just read some of the disses...
first of all, why are there people commenting when they don't even understand the movie? some of you don't know what this is and you're voting? why?
second, it's spelled quentin and he wasn't even the main director, there were two other directors and he was like a special guest director
third, i can see why you don't like watching the sex and the prostitutes but that's one one part of the movie, it's like pulp fiction where it's broken up into a bunch of mini stories that are connected
and remember that this is an adaptation from graphic novels so of course it's been done before, it's in commics
and last but not least, don't compare this to cassablanca ...cassablanca was a romance and this is like pulp fiction, newflash: there are other movies in black and white and don't say that cassablanca was the original

Brilliant
Sin City was in one word, Amazing. The dialogue and stories were genius. This has to be one of the best comic book movies to come out. The hookers and blood were just a part of the story.. it was no less gory than any horror movie. Any girl who says that they left in the middle of it or 'have no idea what it is' are probably the same kinds of girls with no imagination and think that movies that have Hillary Duff in them are the best.

it was very artistic... the story line..the way it's laid out..you actually need a brain to follow it and acknowledge the brutal beauty of it...and if you don't ..it has fighting and gore...so sit back and enjoy!!!

This is one of my favorite movies ever. It looks amazing, they did such a great job with the graphic novel style and animation. It`s gross, funny, exciting, and creepy as hell. It`s just so COOL.

I have never heard of "Sin City" and be it that I am a Christian I probably won't like it even if I knew what it was.But I may be thinking cause it has the word "sin" in it that everything is about sinning , which i don't know , but I don't know what that movie is.

It was cool in the way it was shot and the acting matched the mood of the comic and al that.. but it was overly graphic and there were way too many naked chix. My boyfriend and I walked out 40 minutes into it. If you want to see some cool black and white, why not just rent something like Casablanca? Sorry guys.. it's been done before!
