I was glad that Joaquin and Reese got nominated...but I was sad when Joaquin didn't win. But Reese won! She really deserved it!

Its fun to watch..and look at all the stars and see wat they wear..the dresses and everything and its cool to see your favorite stars and ur fav movies win...its something fun and entertaining to watch and good to look forward to

I was surprised Hotel Rwanda didn't recieve more--from what I heard that was a very touching movie. Personally, I didn't really feel that the Aviator deserved all 11 of those awards, and I thought that the nominees for Best Visual Effects was abysmal--Harry Potter, I Robot, and Spiderman?...In our defense, we were having a slow year. I also can't believe that Phantom of the Opera wasn't nominated for Best Costumes. I haven't seen it, but from the pictures and previews I've seen, they look like very good early century costumes. But hey, Phantom of the Opera did get nominated for Cinematography, which it looks like it deserves. All in all, I think it was a pretty slow year. But hey, Finding Neverland/Johnny Depp look like they'll be tough contenders =). We can only hope.

I love watching them because i see a lot of people I like and the win sometimes and thats pretty cool...I dont thin there is anything wrong with them at all.

The Aviator
I personally can't wait for The Oscars, and I saw The Aviator as well; not the type of movie I'd be into, but good nonetheless. It deserved 11 nominations.

They Never Choose the Right Movies I Mean This Year's Oscar's Only Savior is the Fact That There Were So Many Great Ones! Also There is Always a Bias Towards Movies That are Released before Oscar Nominations I Noticed Which Pushes All The Other Great Movies Released Before Hand..Pretty Sad I Think...Like Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind..Incredible Movie I recommend Everyone to Watch it..The Oscars r SO overrated!!! I Watch It for the Gowns tho..lol

Sorry, I need to diss too because those Best Visual Effects nominees are just depressing me. Harry Potter, I Robot, and Spiderman??? I just find that to be slightly...ahh, degrading. Oscar can do better.
