I see no Mocking, really
I have seen the movie Saved quite a few times. I do love it. I think people take it too literally. I mean, I know people exactly like that. The 'gay' boyfriend. The very-zealous (almost over-zealous) Mandy Moore character. The punk who makes fun of religion. And the lead character. She's religious, but OPEN MINDED. She's CONFUSED. For most teenagers, this is how life is. I think this movie was made to kick us in the butt....telling us to stop being against all these different types of people...against those not of our religion...and that if you don't worship twenty-four/seven, you're not going to hell....it was also damn funny and you know it! ;-)

Fantastically satrical
I'm a Roman Catholic and I have to say, I loved this movie. Not only was the humor of good quality, but it showed a comical side of the extremeists in religion. I honestly don't find this movie offensive in anyway; it makes light of stereotypes, not fun of them.

Saved was a great movie. It's not making fun of Christianity at all. Some of you are taking it too seriously. I'm Catholic and it didn't bother me at all. Was the movie made about you? NOOOOOOOOOO. It's just a movie. Not even a headline making one. Maybe the reason the movie bothers you is because you act like the characters.

Hilarious!
I adored this film-I thought it was very well done and extremely funny. I loved the part when Hillary Faye invited Cassandra to eat with her and Patrick and Cass said "So we can watch Hillary Faye try and get into your Easter basket? No thanks." And of course "Burn in hell, you narrow-minded, tacky-ass bitch!". Sooo funny.

I just thought it was a badly made movie. If it were funnier or more obviously mocking superchristianity, then it would've been fine. but the sort of mid-point it is, it's like half-assedly making fun of christianity, where as if it just went all the way with super-fundamentalism, it would've been funny and though still not as excepted as I wish it were, people would understand it wasn't real. Seemed to create the sort of thing that happened with the Muhammed political cartoons...

the title says it all, how could u make such a movie that is so wrong. I would Not waste a penny to go and c this movie, i dont even need to see this movie 2 know its wrong and its against God. This movie paints a bad picture full of lies, trying 2 show that christians are all wrong and everything. well christians are'nt wrong and u shouldnt let a movie like this influence ur beliefs.

haha...this is actually very very funny because people are all like.."jesus gave his life to me..blah blah blah..im saved, i loved the movie" but its so obvious they didnt see it because the movie isnt about a "real" christian movie at all..its unbiased at the least and there is some irony in talking about christianity ...it kind of makes fun of it. actually..no it deffinately makes fun of christianity. so my suggestion...see the ***ing movie before you break into a three part christian rock harmony praising jesus and how he saved you...its a great movie but it sure as hell doesnt seriously analyze jesus...for that shit go see passion of the christ..

Just what we need another christain movie! Oh, Gods its so annoying, and there is no way in hell (if I believed in it) that I am ever going to see Saved or the passion of the christ! Ugh!! I am getting a tumor just thinking about it! If they are going to make religion movies they should make them about more then one religion! Lets have a jewish, wiccan, hindu, or another religion movie....Cause if you ask me it is getting kind of old.
