should the media publish photos of iraqi prisoner abuse?

courtesy of Getty Images, 2004

The first photos of Iraqi prisoner abuse were published over a month ago. Since then, new images seem to surface every few days. Do you think it's important for the public to see these pictures? Do you agree with the media's decision to publish them? Or have you seen enough already?

I think for all the fluff pieces there are about the military, it is important to recognize that they're not going down there to hand out flowers.

This doesn't show American viewers how much we've actually done in Iraq to make a postive difference. It's also an example of some of the bad seeds in our military. You can't blame it on the military, just on the sick, twisted people who get their kicks torturing and abusing prisoners. Doesn't the Geneva Convention make this illegal? Am I thinking of the right thing?
