is this teen pregnancy ad effective?

from Nat'l. Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy, copyright 2001

This ad seems to be calling a pregnant teen a "REJECT." What do you think this ad is trying to say?

    offensive, stupid and possibly dangerous
Honestly, it'd actually incline me to have sex and get pregnant just to prove that pregnant teens aren't rejects. They should be more supportive, the only reason we get pregnant is because we don't always know how to have safe sex, they should try helping us first instead of just jumping to conclusions and putting labels on people, and I find the wording to be very offensive and slightly dangerous; after-all if you've just discovered that you're pregnant and you're having a hard time digesting it and thinking of what you're going to do - what everyone is going to think - and you see this ad... lets just say that it can be the finishing blow.

It's not going to stop me from having sex.
Instead of ads focusing on anti-sex, they should be more pro birth-control and contraceptives. Lets face it. Girls are still going to have sex. We just need to know how to have sex safer. Give us advice! Don't just tell us not to do something.

    Completely Stupid
They could have AT LEAST used better wording honestly. I know several pregnant teens who made something of themselves and are FAR from rejects. This ad is very offensive, and should think about what it is saying.

    Stupid
This advertisement is stupid. Just because a teenager gets pregnant, doesn't make her a reject. I know plenty of girls that have babies, but are actually doing things with their life.
