Realism was an art movement that evolved during the mid-1800s, in which the artists depicted their subjects as accurately as possible. Influenced by the invention of photography, these artists did not try to sugarcoat their canvases. Instead, they often chose gritty subject matter, such as tenements, poverty and oppression.
Like the realists, it seems like you are very in tune with the world around you. Your head probably isn't in the clouds. You don't tell people what they want to hear, but rather you tell it like it is. Your friends mostly appreciate your honesty and can always count on you for the truth.
