  questions 1 to 2 of 7

1.Dear advicegURL, I feel really fat, what should I do? --starshine
If you don't like the way you look, then go on a diet and start exercising. Your move.
Try to get rid of those negative thoughts by focusing on the things you love about yourself and accept yourself for who you are.
First we need to figure out why you think you are too fat... What do you think? Finding the cause will lead us to a solution.
Meditate or pray on the matter to get the strength you need to accept yourself for who you are.
You are beautiful as you are! Don't buy into the hype!
I want you to jump around and scream out at a world that makes women feel dissatisfied with their bodies, and at any person that has ever said a mean thing to you about your looks.

2.Dear advicegURL, I think a friend of mine stuffs her bra and everyone at school is talking about it behind her back. Should I tell her or not? --pell-mel
What does your friend's bra have to do with you? If you don't wanna touch 'em, then stop thinking about them. Your friend's allowed to do as she pleases.
Take her aside and break it to her very, very gently, and then buy her a padded bra.
Confront her and tell her she's making a fool of herself and needs to stop.
What concerns you more--that people are talking about her or that she stuffs her bra? If the former, why do you care so much what other people think? If the latter, why would she stuff her bra? Figure that out and maybe you'll understand her more.
Don't say anything. If she has insecurities about her chest, she will work through them in good time. There's nothing you could say to make her change the way she feels.
Try to take her mind off her body issues by talking to her about the superficiality of physical beauty and insecurity.
