With the school year winding down, we thought now might a good time to look back at events past--after all, looking backward is a big part of both fashion and psychoanalysis.

We thought it would be interesting to take some archetypal looks from recent history (punk rock, hippie and disco queen) and see what happens when they are combined.

Your personal history might say more about you than the combination of clothes you pick here. But we hope you are entertained nonetheless.

Please be advised, as usual, that although we have lots of experience in being judgmental about people's fashion sense (and more experience with psychological analysis than we are comfortable discussing), we really have no idea what we are talking about.
