History is a mine of knowledge. Fashion recycles itself constantly, drawing on the past for inspiration. This is why we find ourselves craving a certain article of clothing, then laughing at ourselves for liking it, then suddenly craving it again a few years later.

But every era has its own look, and, of course, an appropriate interpretation. So we took a few ensembles from yesteryear and put them on the table for you to mix and match. In this time of eclectic fashion, what could be more modern?
