  Dear Heather,

I'm afraid I might have a fetish. For some reason, I find it sexually pleasing to have my bladder pressed on, or to just have a slightly full bladder in general. I have been doing it since I was about eight, and it never seemed weird until I actually thought about it. I have never told anyone--and even lied to cover it up. Recently, I've worried it might be a fetish. Is it a fetish, and if it is, should I do something about it?

Hi.

A fetish is usually considered a sexual attraction to a certain kind of object or an attraction to a type of person whom one "objectifies" or treats as though they are "things." (If you would like to learn more about this topic, take the sex trivia quiz on fetishism).

What you're feeling when your bladder is full, however, is not a fetish. It is a normal part of biological functioning--a result of the pressure your urine is putting on your "g-spot." Your g-spot is a highly pleasurable bunch of spongy erectile tissue about the size of a quarter, located a few inches inside on the front wall of the vagina, directly in back of the bladder.

Some people stimulate this area directly by pressing on it or rubbing it with a finger or some other object. Your method is simply a more subtle way of stimulating this part of the vagina.

Rest assured that feeling pleasure from the g-spot is completely normal. It is a feeling shared by many women who actively stimulate the g-spot as part of a healthy sex and masturbatory life. Enjoy the exploration.

Take care.

Take care,
heather
