Hi.
It sounds from your letter like there are a lot of reasons why going to a regular school would be stressful for you right now, but you don't explain why you decided to return to regular school in the first place.
Making decisions can be stressful, but one idea for making it easier is to make a list, on paper, of all the pros and cons of staying in homeschool or returning to a regular school. Think about what is important to you both in the short term and the long term. Socially, things are probably quite different in a homeschool than they are in a regular school. Academically, consider which experience is giving you the better education. Ask yourself what your long-term goals are and how either school can help you get there. If your list is heavily in favor of one program over another, that will give you an idea about which way you are leaning.
Also, there may be a way to combine the best of both options. Could you finish out the current year at home and then return to a regular school next year? If you decided to go to a regular school and it didn't work out, could you return to homeschool? Again: Why did you want to leave homeschool? Are there ways to resolve those issues while staying in homeschool?
It might also be a good idea to think about where all the stress is coming from and think about ways to manage it. Exercise, self-expression through writing or art, deep breathing and/or talking about your fears with someone are all different ways to help deal with stress that you may find helpful.
Keep in mind that some things are beyond your control. According to research by the National Center for Education Statistics, crimes at public and private schools have either stayed the same or gone down in recent years, compared to the early 1990s. While there have been some horrific stories about violence at schools, such occurrences, while scary, aren't the norm.
