The four leaf clovers on my wrists are for my sister and me. We have made it a tradition to get our tattoos together as a shared experience of sisterhood.
The blue one represents her because she is the older, more tomboyish one. The pink represents me as I have grown out of the tomboy stage and love being a girly kind of girl. These tattoos are just another way of showing the love I have for my family. No matter what happens down the road, she will always be my big sister.
I'm always getting compliments on these two pieces and questions about placement. There is a major vein in your wrists that goes straight to your heart. Since I would never put a tattoo directly over my heart, my wrists were the second-best place for the four leaf clovers.
