My tattoo has song lyrics from the song "No Rain" by Blind Melon. It says, "Speak my point of view" on one side of my hips and "but it's not sane" with a small bumblebee on the other side of my hips.

I've always been one of those people who feel that tattoos should have meaning behind them, seeing as they are on your body forever. My tattoo is no exception. Ever since I was a little kid, my dad would tell me the song "No Rain" reminded him of me. I never really understood why when I was younger. But he said it would just fit me when I was older and then I would get it. That's just what happened. The older I got, the more I realized every line in that song represented me perfectly. I knew that would be my tattoo.

As for the lyric from the song I chose, that has to do with my mother. One day while we were in the kitchen, she said how much she loved that line. BAM! I knew my tattoo. The bumblebee was added because I am terrified of them and it was a good way to get over that. Also, if you've ever seen the video for "No Rain," the main character was a little girl in a bee costume. My tattoo is symbolic of my parents and myself. I love it so much!
