This was my first tattoo and it has the most meaning to me. It is a more feminine version of the Celtic Tree of Life. It represents not only my heritage but also the circle of life. It means that everything dies and goes back to Mother Earth to form something else, so there is beauty in death.
My mother passed away when I was 14. This tattoo helps me to remember that even though my mother passed away so soon in life, she created my sister and me. She added more beauty to the world. I had the flowers colored in purple because that was her favorite color.
