It would be hard to please everyone's needs and equally hard to solve all the other problems we face.
It would be a nice idea to relieve all troops, but we cannot leave a country in turmoil, fighting against itself. If we only look after ourselves, we cannot expect help from other countries if and when we need it.
Gay marriage should simply be legalized. It should be about love and freedom of choice. We should not deny people the right to enter wedlock simply because they love someone with the same genitals as them.
