- Select a medium-sized chunk of hair from the center of your head. Pull hair back and secure tightly with bobby pins at the back of your head.
- Then, pull hair from both sides around the face to create a half ponytail that will lie directly below the bobby pins. Use an elastic band to hold the half ponytail in place.
- Using a medium-sized curling iron (keep the curling iron pointed up, or vertical, while you wrap hair around the rod), spiral curl sections of the ponytail. Spray hair with hairspray to hold curls. Do entire half ponytail, then curl all remaining hair. Give it one final spray.
